Research Project 1st Ideas

We got our briefs for the research project we will be starting soon, I have paired with Chris Swann and we intend to look into the use of dramatic/scary music to enhance mood and suspense with in horror films, we intend to make several artifacts showing examples of films with and with out music and how using different styles to get an idea on peoples opinions, we will make short films or use pre made scenes with the music on top. Here is an example of a track that could be used with the films.

Here is the final edit of the malac video. The video is about the theory that the mind can create something far more scary than what we can be shown, is a show of how music and angles can be used to sell something as being scary when its not.
